The Lions Mane Jellyfish is the largest jellyfish in the world. They have been swimming in arctic waters since before the dinosaurs (over 650 million years ago) and are among some of the oldest surviving species in the world.
The largest can come in at about 6 meters and has tentacles over 50 meters long. Pretty amazing when you think these things have been swimming around for so long.
They have hundreds of poisonous tentacles that it used to catch passing by fish. it then slowly drags in it’s prey and eats it.
That is terrifying.

I haven’t heard something that makes my heart as warm as this song in quite some time.

Sky - Joshua Radin ft. Meiko
This is one of the most soothing, lovely songs I know.
This year is ending on such a lovely note. I continue to have a truly loving and supportive group of friends. They are a safety net that I know will always be there to encourage me thru tears and laughs. I have met an incredibly amazing guy. Never before have I trusted someone so much, or felt a swarm of butterflies erupt at the thought of a name, or longed to just spend hours together doing absolutely nothing. I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for this past year and excitement for the treasures that will be revealed in the year to come.
